1. Introduction

This document outlines the terms and conditions for the Lifetime Warranty provided by Whatever Wheels Limited, trading as Whatever Wheels Yamaha (referred to as "the Company"), on new and used motorcycles that meet the specified criteria. This Lifetime Warranty is an exclusive offer that comes free of charge with your purchase and is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer. We believe in providing peace of mind with every bike we sell.

  • New Bikes: Your new motorcycle is covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty, followed by the Whatever Wheels Lifetime Warranty.
  • Used Bikes: Your used motorcycle purchase includes our Whatever Wheels Lifetime Warranty.

2. Qualification Criteria

4. Customer Obligations

To maintain the validity of this Lifetime Warranty, the customer must:

A. Servicing: It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the motorcycle is serviced in strict accordance with the manufacturer's recommended service schedule, adhering to both the specified time and mileage intervals. If you don't reach the required mileage for a service, you must still bring the motorcycle in for an annual service at least once every 12 months.

B. Authorised Servicing: All servicing and repairs, including routine maintenance and warranty-related work, must be carried out exclusively by Whatever Wheels Yamaha or a service centre specifically authorised in writing by Whatever Wheels Yamaha. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty.

C. Notification of Claim: The Company must be notified of any potential claim within 14 days of the occurrence of the failure. Failure to do so may invalidate the claim. The customer must always contact Whatever Wheels Yamaha in the first instance before any repair work is commenced by a third party.

D. New Motorcycle Warranty Transition: For all new motorcycles, the vehicle must be brought to Whatever Wheels Yamaha no later than one month prior to the initial manufacturer's warranty expiring for a full inspection.

E. Vehicle Use: The motorcycle must be used for normal road riding purposes only. The warranty will be invalidated by any use outside of this, including but not limited to: track days, racing, pace-making, speed testing, commercial use or use in a competition.

5. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

A. Routine Maintenance Items: Parts that are subject to routine servicing and periodic maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements, including but not limited to: tyres, exhausts (including catalytic converters), drive belts/chains, cam chains, pipes, hoses, batteries, lamps/bulbs, fuses, seals, gaskets, channels, locks, hinges, handles, winders, straps, sprockets, linkages, and rubber/synthetic couplings/gaiters.
